She is a source of inspiration to women and young girls in Nigeria, especially, the North Eastern part where she comes from. Her Education and Career successes are also sources of inspiration to parents, in their quest to send the female child to school in order to acquire education. Born on December 25th, 1952, she went to school at a time when few parents bothered about the girl child education, and obtained her first School Leaving Certificate in 1964.
